There are times…
In trying to not to cause pain
We drive the other almost insane
Inciting them to anger
As they wait for an answer
…But sometimes…
The questions asked
Are like Herculean tasks
As they may be so unexpected
That one’s tongue gets twisted
Wondering and…
Trying to find the right word
To say and still keep the accord
Maintaining a valued friendship
With continuous fellowship
…So…
Though silence may be frustrating
It might be an attempt at protecting
Hearts from being hurt
By unshared feelings of the heart
